GRAD G651 - Introduction to Statistics (3 hr)

Description:  The course is an introduction to biostatistics.  Students learn to apply statistical techniques to the processing and interpretation of data from health studies.  Topics covered include probability, descriptive statistics, study design, and linear regression, among others.  Taught during the Fall Semester.

GRAD G652 - Biostatistics II (3 hr)

Description:  The course follows G651 and provides more in-depth coverage of multiple regression and ANOVA, and introduces more advances statistical topics such as logistic regression and survival analysis. Taught during the Fall Semester.

Short Courses:

Biostatistics for Physicians

Description:  Sessions I and II cover basic principles, design of  medical research studies, standard statistical tests and data analysis.  Session III focuses on more advanced topics, such as experimental design, multiple regression, logistic regression and survival analysis.  Registrants may choose to attend Session I and II, II and III, or I, II, and III.  This course is offered periodically.
