RESEARCH INTERESTS: I am an applied statistician who enjoys working on real data problems. My recent methodological publications are in the areas of multiple comparisons, hierarchical generalized linear models, and causal inference in observational studies. Currently I am working on the survival models for sexually transmitted infections. I am particularly interested in the development of resampling based survival models for interval and right censored data using STD behavioral diaries. This effort is funded by an NIH research grant (RO1 HD042404-01; PI: Tu, W).

My collaborative research is mostly in the areas of infectious diseases and geriatric care.
