Research Interests
My primary research focus has been on nonparametric
regression methods, longitudinal data, functional data analysis and
high-dimensional data. In particular, I have been developing new statistical
methodology in the areas of penalized regression splines in the longitudinal
data setting, mass spectrometry proteomics signal processing and regression of
intensively collected longitudinal data. My main areas of application are human
growth data, study of genetic factors of alcoholism and mass spectrometry
proteomics.
